CFC Gym Covid-19 update April 13, 2020

Hello everyone,

On April 13, the Government of Manitoba extended the shut down of all non-essential businesses until April 28, 2020. With this new mandate, we should be operational on April 29, but that timeline could be pushed back.

We will be giving all current members a credit on their accounts retroactive to March 17 through to May 1, 2020.

We are now planning to open for business on April 29, 2020. If the shutdown lasts longer than May 1, we will pause all memberships for the duration of the shut down, unless our members request their account to remain active and continue billing.

Please email us at info@canadianfighting.com if you would like to keep your account active and continue billing. All pre-paid memberships are paused retroactive to March 17, 2020. We appreciate all of our members tremendously.

We ask all of our members to remain resilient during this difficult time. Our intention is to always be transparent and fair to our members. If any members have concerns, please email us at info@canadianfighting.com.

Reminder for current CFC Gym members to join our private Facebook group for live workouts. Canadian Fighting Center/ Roufusport MMA Winnipeg is for Current Members only, and we will be uploading daily workouts and content, daily MMA workouts live from Milwaukee, as well as live Kickboxing workouts weeknights at 5:30pm.

Stay healthy and stay strong everyone!

CFC Gym COVID-19 Update

Hello everyone,

First I would like to thank all the amazing CFC Gym members and supporters of our Martial Arts School. Without your support we would not have the great community we have.

On March 17, we followed the recommendations of the public health authorities and decided to temporarily close down the facility in order to help slow the rate of infection due to COVID-19.

On March 20, The Province of Manitoba declared a state of emergency, and as part of that all gyms in our province must close for 30 days. The 30 day closure ends on April 20, but that timeline could be extended. We are truly in uncharted waters.

We appreciate all of our members during this difficult time, and we understand that some of you may experience financial hardships and may have lost your jobs.

There are many CFC Gym members that have asked to keep their billing accounts active as they would like to continue to support our school during this time, and words cannot express how much that means to us. In return, if you choose to keep your account active, you will receive a credit on your account for the amount of time we were closed. This credit can be used for complimentary training for you or a friend, merchandise in our pro-shop or private training sessions. For everyone on 3 month prepaid membership agreements, your membership has been paused retroactive to March 17, 2020.

We would ask our members to Please email us at info@canadianfighting.com if you choose to pause your April 5 Payment. Our intention is to always be transparent and fair to our members. We all want a gym to come back to when this is all over.

Online Content:

We have started a Private Facebook Group-

Canadian Fighting Center/ Roufusport MMA Winnipeg is for Current Members only, and we will be uploading daily workouts and content, as well as doing live Kickboxing workouts weeknights at 530pm. We must stay active to reduce stress and anxiety and to maintain our health, so CFC Gym members please join this group and keep up your training.

It is our intention to have our school up and operational on April 20, unless our provincial government extends the shutdown.

Tough times don’t last, but tough people do. This shall pass, We will get through this together, and we will become stronger from it. We will be back to our normal lives sooner than we think.

Stay Healthy and Strong Everyone.

Thank You,
Giuseppe DeNatale
